MYANMAR FOOTBALL FAN THREATENS TO TAKEOVER S'PORE & MAKE S'POREANS JOBLESS

A reader contributed this disturbing screenshot to All Singapore Stuff. In it, it showed a Myanmar football fan making incendiary comments against Singapore. This was after Myanmer defeated Singapore 2 - 1 in last night's SEA Games qualifying match at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

The Myanmar netizen with the online moniker Guidingstar Mmu (https://www.facebook.com/guidingstar.mmu) threatened to takeover Singapore and make Singaporeans jobless.

He claims that Myanmar will soon takeover our jobs, economy and even replace our local population. He tells Singaporeans to work harder and stop blaming others. He ended off by saying that hardworking Myanmar people will take over all Singapore jobs and make Singaporeans jobless.

This is reminiscence of the previous incident where a Filipino nurse made similarly incendiary comments about Singapore. For his seditious comments, he was charged in Court for Sedition and giving false information to the police (http://www.allsingaporestuff.com/article/pinoy-nurse-edz-ello-charged-se...).

Being a city state that is one of the most prosperous nation in South East Asia, it is no wonder upcoming ASEAN countries like Philippines and Myanmar have set their sights on overtaking Singapore.

Are we ready to welcome the competition and deal with the spiteful comments from these wannabes?

Even after last night's disappointing match where Singapore's football team lost 2 - 1 to Myanmar, Singaporeans still found class to congratulate and praise both the Myanmar football team and their fans. After the match, it was observed by the public that Myanmar fans helped out with the cleaning of Jalan Besar stadium and this drew praise from all sides.

This was what some Singaporeans had to say about the visitors from Myanmar:

"Salute to them. .They are such nice ppl..very helpful n very polite..I see them always give money to ppl selling tissue around city hall..very nice ppl indeed"

"We need to learn from the citizens of Myanmar. Bravo!! Their biggest WIN tonight is the respect Mynmar won from all Singaporeans."

"Well done Myanmar players. they showed a lot of determination and guts and of course a lot of sportsmanship behaviour. Must blame Singapore goalkeeper for both goals and for the coach for not starting Irfan Fandi from the start. Should get rid of Shahil and the no. 10 Faris Ramli. The defender Anu must relax a bit, he seems super Kancheong"

"Thanks Guys for helping. The Myanmar team really played well and deserved the win. Come on Sg, theres still hope. Go lions!!"

"Like i always say these sort of foreigners are what we want in singapore.. Quality ones who can intergrate with our singaporean culture and values.. Well done.."

"Salute them and respect them however they win singapore but they did not act and walk away after the match but they still stay and clean up the mess in jalan besar stadium i really salute them that they show respect to our fellow singaporean people."

Despite our team's unexpected loss, Singaporeans still had the humility to give credit when it's due. Singaporeans are such a classy bunch isn't it? Same goes for the visitors for showing us the meaning of civic-mindedness?

What do you think?

NSP'S KEVRYN LIM IS THE HOTTEST POLITICAL STARLET IN SINGAPORE

$

Netizens have been sending us questions about the mysterious girl spotted at the National Solidarity Party's (NSP) "Meet & Greet" walkabout, which was held in the evening of 27th May at Serangoon Central. NSP candidates have been working hard and conducting frequent walkabouts in the Marine Parade GRC ward in preparation for upcoming elections.

At first, there seemed to be very little information about the mysterious hottie, who struck a cute figure among the more senior and serious figures in the NSP walkabout team. One particular photo that caught every eligible bachelor's eye was a shot where the young lady struck a "V for Victory" pose while posing gamely for a candid camera photo. The shot was taken by a fellow NSP team member, who later uploaded the pictures to the NSP Facebook.

But the wait is over, it seems. A reader has come forward with information on the young political starlet, who goes by the name Kevryn Lim Tong Zhen

Kevryn, who currently runs her own event management and digital marketing firm, EM DM, while holding down a position as a Project Manager at WOW Productions, is definitely not your run-of-the-mill political lightweight.

According to her Linkedin profile, she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations and Film & TV from the Curtin University of Technology, as well as a Masters in Professional Communication from the same university.

She also participated actively as a student volunteer to help the less fortunate during her studies overseas, and even co-founded the Curtin Student United Way, a youth leadership program that gives its members the chance to make a difference in their communities by building up their communities in the areas of education, income and health.

Kevryn even served as an online radio presenter on Radio Television Hong Kong, making her a mini-celebrity in her own right!

Our reader also informed A.S.S. that Kevryn had worked as a model for a few years. This comes as no surprise, given Kevryn's lithe frame and attractive features.

The reader has generously submitted some photos below of Kevryn during her modelling days, all of which confirm that Kevryn might just be the hottest political star to hit Singapore politics since Nicole Seah.

Take a look, you might be impressed!

NETIZENS OUTRAGED AS PINOY FT THREATENS TO INVADE DUMB SHIT SINGAPORE

A screengrab of a Filipino FT's foul mouth tirade against Singapore has went viral since yesterday night. The Facebook post by RJ Ronaldo was foul-mouthed, disrespectful and highly incendiary against Singapore. He even called Singapore, China's bitch and threatened to invade Singapore with the help of the USA.

He said: "Singapore a small shit of land with mongoloid people hu didn't know shit just got developed bcuz of the british and too dumb do its own shit and hires skilled and proffesional Filipinos..wait till the US and Philippines wage war against china, yes right were gonna invade u china's bitch singaporeshit and will fuck you real good!!!"

This over the top tirade was met with much derison on the internet and even a presumably Filipino "Olana Irvin Melendres" called him out and told RJ Ronaldo that he was too much and should stop it.

As expected Singaporeans have not reacted kindly to his harsh and inflammatory words and this is like "EdzEllo" happening all over once more. Will RJ Ronaldo feign ignorance and claim that he was hacked once the flames get too hot to handle?

This was how Singaporeans reacted to this Filipino's comments.

Mag Kan: Oh this guy. Just another sad attention seeker needing attention cuz his father stopped going into his room at nite. Yawn.

Farhan Bin Mohamed Zahiri: Another shit hole dog from 3rd world country is threatening singapore.

SaifulDimitri: Talk big, nothing to show, the guy has small balls, how about I smack you instead with fist full of patriotism in my hand on your face. I'm sure that'll set you straight. Eh please la, you want to invade our country, your own military has third grade weapons, how to compete with singapore? Hahaha.

Shawn Chen: Relax guys, we all know why these people like to flame and attack us right? They know deep down that we're way better than them. They have no better way to prove that their country or even they themselves, can fare better than us, thus resorting to such feeble taunts to provoke us. It all boils down to one simple word - jealousy. You can't get the grape? Simple, just say that the grape is sour.

IshwarSerma: Great, another edzello. Hope they arrest him soon. His comments are offensive and uncalled for.

Sean Josh Albertan: Don't bother, tiny people who don't carry weight, who care?? if he really dare to do what he claim...I DARE HIM!! Joker everywhere...more import big issue waiting for us all to concern...

Faizal Jim Bohari: Don't stoop down to his level guys. we forgive him for his deprived childhood. We are much bigger than this. In more ways than 1.

Zaki Ibrahim Andries: Report him! Confronted him on one of the threads about the sea games spring board shit and he was defaming us singaporeans like nobody's business

Will RJ Ronaldo face the same fate as EdzEllo? Or will he ride into the sunset unscathed after the serious threats made against Singapore?

AMOS YEE: I'M NOW A GREAT MARTYR JUST LIKE GANDHI, MANDELA & JESUS

After weeks of silence, Amos Yee re-emerged on Facebook with a series of seemingly unbelievable posts. At a time when he is supposed to still be in prison, he managed to make four FB posts since yesterday just to "fuck with the Government". He told supporters that he went to jail for the sins of all Singaporeans and now pits himself against all of history’s great ‘Martyrs’ such as Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Jesus.

Check out his epic facebook posts below:

"How is it that I am in prison, yet I am still able to post something on Facebook? Well… If you want to fuck with the Government, fuck with them all the way."

"I am now literally in prison, simply because I insisted on upholding my views. So now, I am able to pit myself against all of history’s great ‘Martyrs’: Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Jesus (not really). Now if anyone has any skepticism towards my intentions or their views towards me, just remember, I went to remand, for your sins."

"My mother was absolutely shocked that in my entire time in prison, I had never been exposed to sunshine. The closest thing I had to going outdoors was a daily (except for weekends), 1- hour activity called the outdoor ‘yard’ where inmates get to play basketball or sepaktakraw. But we’re not doing it outdoors, but in a 5th floor enclosure similar to that of an indoor sports hall. And of course, there is no opening in the ceiling for cellmates to have direct contact with sunlight."

How did Amos gain internet access to make these facebook posts? Any geniuses have the answer? :)

HEALTH MINISTRY: WE ARE NOT GOING TO SCREEN VISITORS FROM THAILAND YET DESPITE MERS CASE

$

Dear editor

The media reported earlier that Thailand had confirmed its first case of MERS infection.

A 75-year old man and his 3 family members have been quarantined in Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute in Thailand. He arrived in Bangkok from Oman for medical treatment of a heart condition. More than 100 people onboard the flight were marked for contact tracing.

Despite the fact that the disease has reached Thailand, Health Minister Gan Kim Yong told reporters that it is not necessary to screen visitors from Thailand at the moment as the "sole case is contained".

MERS is such an infectious disease and South Korea already has 23 deaths. Why isn't the health ministry doing its part to screen visitors from Thailand since Singapore is a popular destination for Thai workers and we have a sizable Thai population who may have visitors from Thailand.

Singapore is known to be "kiasu", so why can't we be "kiasu" for MERS? It's better to be safe than sorry!

INSIDER: SMRT GETTING DIESEL-POWERED TRAINS BY YEAR END

Photo: A SMRT passenger who was unable to take it in any longer.

by Wan Dan Liao, Straight Times

Singapore - More than 250,000 commuters were stranded in SMRT train stations yesterday evening (7 Jul) when a power outage caused the shutdown of the entire North-South-East-West line.

It is the first time that services the entire North-South-East-West line broken down at the same time. This is possibly the worst MRT breakdown Singapore has experienced.

Initial investigations suspected a faulty train could have triggered the power surge which led to the massive breakdown.

SMRT insiders have informed ST that the public listed company have convened a board meeting late last night and approved plans to purchase 154 diesel-powered trains to replace the current fleet of aging trains and resolve electrical power lines issue that has plagued SMRT for years.

According to tender documents ST has received, the diesel-powered trains will be six carriages long with five passenger cabins. The last carriage carries more than 900 liters of liquid diesel fuel that could last the train for close to 3 days.

ST got in touch with SMRT Corp's Commuters Moving Group Director Mr Ma Sai di who acknowledged the ambitious S$122.5 million plan.

"We have to do it," Mr Ma said wearily. "Our primary concern is ensuring we keep moving people and enhance their lives."

When asked if this would affect future transport fares, Mr Ma declined to comment and directed the query to Public Transport Council, the government-linked body that regulates public transport fees.

Some prisoners emo alot inside.
Sleeping on the hard floor for the entired period of your sentence.

You need to know who not to offend inside and I dont mean the Wardens.

There is no freedom, you cant walk to the coffeeshop to get the coke you want, you cant walk to the foodcourt to get the Chicken rice you crazed for.

Everything is controlled and is disciplined. Your movements are also restricted and controlled.

You need to strip whenever you go for yard.

You need to sqat down whenever they are transferring you from 1 HU to another.

What Prisoners do to pass time
Most will just eat, sleep and TCSS with fellow inmates

Some were exercise inside the cells.

Some do reading or studying

Some innovative prisoners will make board games like scrabble, chess, checkers, etc with material from the magazines and rice as glue.

"ANG MOH" IS NOT A DEROGATORY TERM IN SINGAPORE

$

Dear readers,

We refer to the article: LOCAL MALAY HERO STANDS UP TO ANG MOH WHO ABUSED TEEN ON MRT.

Some non-Singaporean readers are wondering whether "Ang Moh" is a derogatory term after they watch the video and seen the comments posted by our readers over of the spat between a Caucasian and a local who wore a T-shirt with subjective wordings. The video of the incident is appended blow.

Ang Moh is a colloquial term used locally to refer to Caucasians. A large section of society uses the term and most of the time it is used without racist or malicious intent.

It would be racist if an individual uses "Ang Moh" in conjunction with a descriptive word affixed at the front. For example, "Chao Ang Moh" which literally means Smelly Ang Moh, or "Ka Ni Na Ang Moh" (translated" f*** your mother Ang Moh). These would be termed racist.

As the saying goes, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. The term Ang Moh is simply the local way of addressing an individual of Caucasian ethnicity and is not meant to be interpreted with a racist lens. And Ang Moh is a term our uneducated forefathers used to call their colonial masters.

Regards,

EXPLODING PELLETS FROM SG50 GIFTPACK BALLOON POSE INJURY RISK TO YOUNG KIDS

$

A whatsapp message warning Singaporean parents about the dangers of a LED balloon from the SG50 goodie bag has gone viral on cyberspace. The message allegedly from an RC member warns that when the LED balloon is overblown, dangerous pellets will fly out of the exploding balloon and these projectiles may cause serious injuries to the face and eyes.

The message advised parents to take special care especially when young children are playing with the toy.

After All Singapore Stuff shared the viral whatsapp message, others parents have stepped forward and reflected the same experience with the balloon. This was what some of them said:

Tan Andrew EngChuan: "Yap. True. Last night, blew it and boom. Things fly out. Not safe."

Albert Chan: "Yes its true. My boy came to me with a few jglass beads"

JajaRiyanNazz: "Yes its true. I blow and the palets blew off."

Other worried parents suggested that the authorities stop distributing this dangerous toy and advised other parents to stop their children from playing with this potentially hazardous toy.

It is unclear if the authorities will address the concerns reflected by Singaporean parents. To be safe, parents should pay careful attention and take precaution to prevent unnecessary injury to their child.

NEW IRREVERENT PAGE "CANNOT MAKE IT" GEARS UP FOR GE2015 WITH A BANG

Judging by the popping up of new sociopolitical sites every now and then, Singaporeans are frankly getting tired of the mainstream media. Just last week, a new site "CMI - Cannot Make It" emerged and it presents an irreverent take on political news in Singapore.

When interviewed by All Singapore Stuff, CMI shared their aspirations and motivations behind the page.

"We are first time voters in Singapore and was inspired by the Hong Kong's umbrella movement about the electoral system. We feel that voters should be given the opportunity to know who they are voting for. So came up with a platform to cover on the coming GE as well as politicians in a less serious and non partisan manner"

Check out their quirky and superpro photoshopped images! You won't be disappointed! :)

HUGE DELAYS ON MRT NORTH-SOUTH LINE ON TUESDAY MORNING PEAK HOUR

$

Just a day after Minister Lui Tuck Yew announced an unexpected 1.9% public transportation fare reduction by the end of 2015, commuters on SMRT's North-South line experienced huge delays due to a train fault.

Due to the fault, trains were moving at snail pace and some commuters complained that even after 30 minutes of waiting, the trains did not move much. As a result, many commuters were unable to get on the platform and had to face long queues before being able to enter the gantries.

Singapore's world class transportation has done it again. Will this become a main thorny issue during the next General Election?

Singapore held its most extravagant #SG50 National Day Parade but netizens were impressed not be the parade! Instead, they are enamored by the pretty faces featured by those cheeky producers/cameraman working our TV screens. On numerous occasions during the NDP live telecast, these horny bastards kept panning their cameras onto these pretty faces in the crowd.

Either those cameramen have eagle eyes or these pretty faces were planted in the crowd for an opportunistic photo op. Whatever it is, these photogenic angels better prepare to be dug out by our local CSI warriors and expect endorsements to knock on their doorsteps real soon.

Enough talk, now enjoy these photos :) You are welcomed.

PINOY MEDIA COMPARE PM LEE HSIEN LOONG'S PRIVATE PLANE AND SAY IT IS SMALL

A couple of days ago, the Filipino media ABS-CBN news reported that their journalists were shocked and confused when they saw PM Lee Hsien Loong disembark from a small unmarked Gulfstream jet.

"For the hordes of journalists who have gotten used to covering more than a dozen world leaders who arrived on board their jumbo jet flag carriers, and even their own presidential airplanes for some, like the Air Force One of US President Barack Obama, seeing a small private jet flying the Singapore leader was slightly out of the norm."

The news article also highlighted that Singapore is one of the richest economies in the world with a GDP per capita and yet PM Lee also chooses to travel on commercial flights for official business.

We can't decide if the Filipino media is indirectly criticising Singapore for being stingy or praising us for our financial prudence. What do you think?

CRAZY WOMAN PICKED MY FALLEN ORANGES & STARTED EATING THEM

$

Dear Editors,

This frustrating incident took place on 20/1/16, I went CNY shopping and bought 3 plastic bags full of oranges. As I was carrying them home, I accidentally dropped 1 bag. While picking them up, a woman holding a kid who looks not more than 5 joined me. It was after picking them up that I realised this woman had taken 2 oranges and starting peeling one of them. I confronted her and told her the oranges were mine. She looked at me blankly then gave 1 back to me and turned to walk away with the peeled orange. I told her it’s rude to take others’ property without permission. She stared at me and still don’t have the intention to return me the peeled orange. I grabbed it forcefully and dumped it in a nearby bin while she looked on with the same blank look.

It was then she started opening her mouth. She shouted that it was just an orange and I was being immature. I started telling her how absurd her actions were and how she was being a bad example to her kid when her kid started crying loudly. I was still trying to reason with her while her kid wailed but 3 elderly men intervened and asked her what the issue was. She twisted her story and said that I knocked her kid and made him cry. The 3 elderly men then started lecturing me. I am a man carrying 3 heavy bags of oranges and exhausted all my strength debating with this woman. I felt completely helpless as this woman got herself backup. I don’t have the time and energy to argue further so I just offered her a bag of oranges for her to let the matter go. She agreed and we all went our separate ways.

I went out and bought 3 bags of oranges and returned with only 2. I feel robbed and violated. I am appalled how one thinks that this kind of behavior is acceptable and how the 3 elderly men dealt me great injustice by taking her side without hearing me out. I hope she is not imparting these kinds of ugly values to her kid.
